Happily Nested,
Gently Organized.
I decorate, I declutter, and I still have feelings about linen. Here you’ll find rooms I love, simple ways to keep things tidy, and a few thrifted finds along the way.

The origin story
Hello, and welcome in
I have a small living room, a big Pinterest board, and opinions about throw pillows that have ended friendships.
This started as a folder on my phone called “rooms I want to live in” — a running list I kept so I could recreate the good stuff at home. Seven years later it is still basically that, except now there are photos and I have learned to write down the paint codes.
Nothing here is precious. Most of it is under five pieces, because I have a rented flat, one good lamp, and zero interest in pretending otherwise.

September Is for Layering
Coming soon
Four weeks where the only correct move is buying too many throws, folding them badly, and leaving them over the sofa arm like a cat.
What I Learned From Decorating Badly for a Decade

On matching everything, hanging art too high, and the very long stretch of being confidently beige.
The Thrift Market Tuesday
Coming soon
An hour out of town, a stall selling nothing but lamps, and the woman who flatly refuses to sell me the brass one on a Thursday.
A Very Long Argument About Paint Whites
Coming soon
Warm, cool, chalk, cream — and then nobody agrees on which white. Here is what actually matters and what does not.
The Greenhouse Dining Room
Coming soon
A glass roof, a table you could land a plane on, and trees that get better seats than the guests.
A Nursery That Grows With Them

Home Lately
What has been on my Pinterest lately, and the rooms I keep going back to.

Sage drawers, a jute rug and a moon lamp. Nothing here needs replacing.

Marble, brass pendants and one very patient olive tree.

A glass roof and a table you could land a plane on.

Cypress, lanterns, and six o’clock, the only correct lighting.

The newsletter
Nook Notes, every other Sunday.
A little letter with new rooms, the odd thrifted find, and the occasional strong opinion about throw pillows. It only lands twice a month, because I honestly don’t have the time (or the nerve) to fill your inbox more than that.
No spam, no random sponsorships, and you can leave whenever you like. No hard feelings.
