I’ve spent the last eight years turning rented rooms and worn-down houses into places worth living in. Nook is where I write about how I go about it, the decisions, the mistakes, and the things I’d do again.
No trends for their own sake. Just rooms that hold up over time.
Every story on this blog comes from a real project, mine, or a home I’ve worked on with someone else. I try to be honest about budget, about the parts that took longer than expected, and about the decisions I would not make again.
